The Lead Storage container Extension was designed as to increase the height of the Lead Storage Container for Ge-68 Phantom.  The extension ring will extend the container's height of a total of 5.5" (13.9cm).  This enables your Lead Storage Container to be able to hold the taller version of the Ge-68 phantom.  Storage Container itself (Item # 994-073) is used for the Precision Ge-68 Phantom for PET camera quality assurance.

The container extension has the same outside wall of a ¼" (.64 cm) steel with 1" (2.54 cm) lead shielding on the inside and the chamfer top allows for the extension to sit snuggly on top of the base container.  The cover, included with the base item, is 1" (2.54 cm) lead with a chamfer bottom to fit into the extension in the same way.
